Check out this new Jamaican events site called Ask Rootz at http://www.askrootz.com. It's a Flash-based site with this cool Dread who speaks to you while you search for something to do. And trust me, there's a lot of up-to-date events on this site, from parties to movies to concerts to theatre to culinary stuff ... you name it, ask Rootz and he'll find it for you.
