Dangerous Windows Exploit

Theres a pretty dangerous exploint that Microsoft wont address until patch tuesday (jan 10th). I'm hardly an active member and I'm unsure if anybody already posted a warning. A maliciously constructed image could be used to exploit a security vulnerability and run arbitrary code. Windows users could simply browse the wrong website or receive an email. Theres even been accounts of exploitation through programs like Lotus Notes. The threat is a bit over blown by media coverage but it is definately a severe threat that shouldnt be ignored.
