I need to remove something from my computer! (HP series 1400)
I've uninstalled it...
but when I go to re-install the original program (hp series 1200)
it keeps telling me a newer version is installed,(1400 series)
i've uninstalled the newer one

Somebody help me get rid of it (1400 series)
so I can re-install the (1200 series) printer

I think she may have to go through and manually delete all traces of the 1400. Because it's still recognizing she has a newer version.

But having the 1400 software installed shouldn't affect the 1200 install. Many people connect more than one printer these days. Something doesn't sound right here.

Try adding new printer from the printer's folder and just add the drivers without adding all the software for the printer. See if that works first then add whatever software you want to add after.
