THIS YEAR’S Holetown Festival got off to a lively start yesterday.
Patrons were entertained by a number of acts such as the Coleridge And Parry School Orchestra, Emmanuel Four, Queen Of The Festival Claire Headley, the seven contestants for this year’s Queen Of The Festival show and Erdiston Primary School, which performed a number of well-known folk songs, including Everytime I Pass, Coconut Water and a very lively version of the Old Nutseller.
Not to be outdone was Dancin’ Africa Juniors, who had just the right moves as they performed to a gospel number.
