De smell from de oven did fillin my head, My Mudda mekin Coconut Bread.
De Cooler was fillup wid Banks, Plus and Rum, Everyting was prepared fuh dis whole day uh fun.
De whole neighourhood was packing dis way, To head up River Bay.
I had to turn back, I did almost fuhget to bring de Bat an de volleyball net, so that we could play.
De buses did rockin de whole blasted way, Wid milkshake and craddle and all uh dah day.
Church goers was humming, Choruses and ting, Den de tamborines start beating and de whole bus did da sing.
All de way to St. Lucy, Church songs getin pelt down, But when we reach close dem start a new song.
