Good Morning members! We made several new changes to the website, especially the homepage. The homepage is about 80% complete. Some of the links may not work properly. I will work on fixing them throughout the week. Some of the following changes are listed below.
- changed the entire layout of the homepage.
- added a small version of the event calendar to the homepage. This calendar displays links to all events and birthdays.
- Virtual Greeting Cards. I will be updating that section with more Caribbean type cards as time permits. I also added a easy option to send postcards from the forums.
- All news and announcements are displayed automatically in the center column of the homepage. We are also looking for volunteers to post news submissions.
- the Active Forums Topics are now displayed to the left on the homepage.
- the left border of the homepage is now displayed in the forums. This option can be turned off and on in your user profile settings.
I appologize the chat room login is presently down at the moment. I will work on getting the login page back up shortly.
Don't forget to refer your friends and family to the IslandChat.net website. Help us make this site the most exciting Caribbean community website on the internet. Any questions, please feel free to ask!
