I like the video with SPRAGGA BENZ the most. However, my SENTIMENTAL favorite is the one with the CARNIVAL atmosphere.

Maddzart, who did the dancehall part, is the one who used the line "dis a big dancehall song." He was a DANCEHALL artist in St. Vincent. Now he is mostly into SOCA.
Maddzart is the guy who sang POOR PEOPLE SONG

Yep. Maddzart is the guy from Blaksand. He is now part of the group HOTTSAND. Hottsand was formed when some of the KEY members of Blaksand left and created their own BAND=HOTTSAND.
The key members are, MADDZART, SHAUNELLE, and Adrian 'REBEL' BAILEY.
This is one of Shaunelle's songs called HOT & CRAZY
Rebel Bailey is the guy who PRODUCED/ARRANGED "TURN ME ON." He is also the brother of TONY BAILEY of Krosfyah
To answer your question of why Maddzart was not in the VIDEO: according to Kevin Lyttle, Maddzart was not AVAILABLE for the video shoot.

But again...how are people supposed to know that it's 'soca' or at least a mix? Meaning for those who arent really exposed to the music. I just hope people recognize...

They should know because it is a soca song, be it a slow version. Furthermore, Kevin Lyttle has said over and over and over and over that it is a soca song, but with a touch of dancehall and R&B.
This is a sample of the first song that Kevin Lyttle made before his MONSTER hit TURN ME ON.

Are you referring to the guy who is sitting on top of a wall over looking the mountain?
I am referring to the guy who is sitting with the girl....then they toasting each other, with what appears to be glasses half full with fruit juice or rum punch (haha), and then a few seconds later he whining on she batty.
If that is who you're referring to, then he looks a lot like Peter Coppin.

Well, I think that Peter Coppin is/was WORKING on "THINGS" wid Kevin Lyttle around de time de video was made. You might get a SENSE of what I am talking about by LISTENING to this [ulr=http://www.bbc.co.uk/1xtra/realmedia/kevinlyttle_interview.ram]INTERVIEW[/url]
Plus, who wouldn't want to be in a VIDEO TOASTING and WHINING up on a PRETTY GYEL. Haha
